Moreover, from the news ‘’FRONTLINE’’ we come to understand the intention of Dana Priest traces the journey from 9/11 to the Boston bombing. This shows that there was something happening within the security systems that led to the terror attack once more in the country. Furthermore, we understand the ongoing war between the government and the media department in relation to security and secrecy options. The reporter wants the people to understand what is happening to the government security panel in protecting the people. Moreover, it is vivid through the news that there was disjoint in the security system as the president ‘’George Bush’’ advise the head of security never to let the incident happen again. It is an indication to the public that the federal security agencies were not prepared enough to protect the people. Apart from this, there are so much that is covered in the news. Despite the mismatch in the media and the government, the real information can be found through the national press from the state since all the information on the matters of security should be concealed.

I personally think that there should be an extent that media should know about the government. It is clear that there was the fault in the security systems that led to the bombing at Boston that led to several killed and others injured as stated from the news. However, that does not mean that the entire government system is wrong and there is nothing that is happening. According to the media, the degree of secrecy presents redundancy and lack of communication making the system insecure. Dana Priest and William call to question the very secrecy that has become a liability to the national security. Many people might think that since the journalist has a professional incentive to disfavor government secrecy, they have an authority to conduct research on the government. On the other hand, the government has another kind of interest to protect all the relevant information from the public that would otherwise act as a leak to the enemies. The public especially the media will always have a problem to the secrecy of information that is present in the security system but it’s a reality that some information should only remain with the intelligence and not the entire public. However, this should not infringe the rights of the media to question the inefficiency of the government systems in terms of leadership.
